Local QA checker

Checks that a downloaded file is byte-for-byte the FCS-approved artifact. Your file is hashed on this device in a background worker. It is never uploaded.

This check compares the exact bytes of your file with the approved artifact. It does not test playback: your player, operating system, DAC, headphones or speakers can still change what you hear.

Manifest signature: DEFERRED_NOT_FAKED. Hashes are checked against a manifest served over HTTPS; signed offline manifests come in a later phase.
